Summary: Repairs and maintains Company fleet (tractors, trailers, and vehicles) to ensure entire fleet is safe, dependable, and available.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Reports to work on each assigned day, at the assigned time. Schedule subject to change as needed.
Maintains, repairs, and reconditions varied equipment including automobiles, vans, lift trucks, heavy trucks, trailers, forklifts, and similar equipment.
Overhauls transmissions, engines, clutches, universals, alternators, and starters.
Repairs and overhauls axle assemblies, adjusts and reline brakes, tunes engines and performs general servicing such as all types of preventive maintenance.
Documents all service and repairs on written forms and/or electronically.
Determines the need for vehicles to be removed from service for repairs based upon inspection or driver reported problems.
Operates standard automotive tests and shop equipment.
Provides roadside assistance to Company vehicles.

Education and/or Experience High School diploma or general education degree (GED). 3-5 years of Fleet Maintenance experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Valid Florida Driver’s License (Class A preferred), safe driving record, and no alcohol related charges on background or license. Must maintain license during entire length of employment.
