Night Warehouse Associate

(Shift begins 3:00pm)

Summary: Ensures proper rotation, replenishment, loading and organization of product and the warehouse by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Reports to work on each assigned day, at the assigned time.  Schedule subject to change as needed.
  • Inspects wrap and secures pallets for delivery into designated assigned bays of route trucks or transport trucks.
  • Responsible for the accurate loading of all delivery vehicles.
  • Responsible for moving designated vehicles (when qualified) for the purposes of loading and parking.
  • Selects pallet case orders for retail delivery and places completed pallets as directed.
  • Performs all night warehouse activities including the selection and loading of full kegs of beer, returning product to stock and sanitation clean-up.
  • Inspects and checks all returned products for inventory accuracy.
  • Stocks warehouse in an efficient manner ensuring proper stock rotation.
  • Returns saleable products back to inventory bins.
  • Complies with all safety rules and regulations.
  • Inspects equipment for safety compliance.
  • Cleans facility as directed.
  • Maintains NFS’ culture of dignity and respect and works as a productive member of a team.
  • Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
  • Attends North Florida Sales’ meetings as required.
  • Adheres to all Anheuser-Busch policies.
  • Adheres to all State Beverage Laws.
  • Operates equipment in a safe and courteous manner.
  • Wears only company provided uniforms.
  • Responsible for all equipment supplied to them by the company.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience
High School diploma or general education degree (GED). 

Communication Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to write reports or correspondence.  Ability to speak and communicate well with others.
Must be proficient in the use of electronic communication devices, such as cell phones, pads, computers, etc., and hand held scanners as needed for various warehousing activities.

Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with several concrete variables in standardized situations.  Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or scheduled form.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Forklift certification preferred.   A valid driver’s license is preferred.

The employee is regularly required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.  The employee must regularly and consistently lift and move up to 30 -40 pounds repetitively and lifting kegs weighting 160lbs.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision; distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

The work environment is typical of those found in warehouse settings.  Additionally, employees consistently encounter cold temperatures of less than 40°, and distinct odors associated with beer.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.


Work Schedule and Compensation
Shift starting time are subject to change due to business demands, however normal starting time is Noon on Mondays only and 3PM Tuesday – Friday.  Shift end time is when the work is complete usually ranging between 9 – 10 hours depending on business conditions.
