Warehouse Associate
Reports To: Warehouse Manager
Division: Lake City
Non-Exempt
Summary: Ensures proper storage, rotation, sanitation and organization of product in the distribution facility by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Reports to work on each assigned day, at the assigned time. Schedule subject to change as needed.
- Stocks beer for loading.
- Checks product date and ensures proper rotation.
- Selects pallet orders for retail delivery and places completed pallets as directed.
- Inspects and checks all returned products for inventory accuracy.
- Stocks warehouse in an efficient manner ensuring proper stock rotation.
- Returns saleable products back to inventory bins.
- Rotates back stock by code date.
- Prepares empty pallets for return to the brewery.
- Loads and unloads all in-coming trucks including barrels, void filters and bulk heads.
- Checks dates to ensure product is within 21-day period daily.
- Rotates keg room. Sweeps and mops keg room daily.
- Complies with all safety rules and regulations.
- Inspects equipment for safety compliance.
- Cleans areas as assigned by manager.
- Maintains NFS’ culture of dignity and respect and works as a productive member of a team.
- Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
- Attends North Florida Sales’ meetings as required.
- Adheres to all Anheuser-Busch policies.
- Adheres to all State Beverage Laws.
- Operates forklift and all other equipment in a safe and courteous manner.
- Wears only company provided uniforms.
- All other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience
High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to write reports or correspondence. Ability to speak and communicate well with customers. Must be proficient in the use of electronic communication devices, such as cell phones, pads, computers, etc., and hand- held scanners as needed for various warehousing activities.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with several concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or scheduled form.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Forklift certification preferred. A valid driver’s license is required.
